Dear Parents,

Registration for the 2010/2011 school year is coming to a close and notification of your child’s placement will be sent via e-mail on March 10.  If you did not receive your first choice of programs, your child will automatically be placed on the waiting list for that program.  We will call you if an opening becomes available before school starts in the fall.  If you have a change in plans, please notify us immediately.  Your non-refundable tuition deposit is due May 1.  This will be applied to your fall tuition.  You can bring your deposit to the office or mail it to the school at 7515 Forest Road, 45255. 

During chapel time in the month of March we will be teaching the children about the fruit of “Goodness” and the importance of giving to others.  Your family will have an opportunity to give to others when you donate a food item to Project 5,000.   More information on this project will be sent home via e-mail.  The fruit of the Spirit for April is “Gentleness.”  

The Anderson Township Fire Department will be visiting our school on March 17 and 18 to present a program on fire safety.  Fireman Gary Justice will show the children fire safety equipment and teach them important techniques including “stop, drop and roll.” 

The children will learn about the power of the wind during Science Day in March and witness a fun chemical reaction in April as we experiment with Mentos and Diet Coke. 

As a reminder, we go outside to play as much as possible in the spring so please dress your child appropriately with a warm coat, hat and gloves.

Finally, I would like to extend an invitation to you to celebrate Easter at Anderson Hills on April 4 if you do not have a church home.  Traditional worship is offered at 8:30 am and 11:00 am in the sanctuary and contemporary worship is offered at 9:30 am and 11:00 am in Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome!
